What is this? Post Photos of Mystery Items Here (vintage computers only)

Pretty sure it is, just not form-factor compatible. Note the 82C288 and 82289. Yea, but MBII boards are much deeper. I think I need to conclude that these were locally designed in the sanctions era. But I was hoping someone could tell me more about the CAD.

Anyone know about ancient LED segment displays? ID help needed.

Looks similar to https://www.keesvandersanden.nl/calculators/datasheets/HP_50827400.pdf I'd rather doubt you'd break them with a 5V power supply and a 10k series resistor. But you can also do a large amount of recce work with a magnifying glass.

Intel SDK-80 information - heigh resolution PCB images, or PCB for sale.

Hi Jerry. The re-cad stuff is not mine, I just have links to it on my web page (where you will also find the manual, scanned). And since you asked, I will add scans of the PCB. Unfortunately it's about a cm larger than A4 so two scans per side. My web site is in my profile but I suspect you...

Intel SDK-80 information - heigh resolution PCB images, or PCB for sale.

Update: When I looked at my own SDK-80 web page I found https://web.archive.org/web/20180313203752/https://www.intel-vintage.info/projects.htm (re-cad) as well as https://forum.vcfed.org/index.php?threads/gw-sdk80-1-a-slightly-modernized-intel-sdk-80-workalike.72605/

Strictly speaking, I know what these are. I have serials 001 and 002 (of maybe a total of 4) MIL-STD-1553 data bus boxes developed by UEC in the eighties. However, I don't know whether these boards were developed specifically for this application (I doubt it) or whether they were developed for...

    Found an 8052-AH-BASIC

I made a PCB using smARTWORK back in the day, basically the reference design from the BASIC-52 manual, with more sockets. When you run BASIC you can save your programs to EPROM, so it's 8052-AH-BASIC + 32K RAM + 32K EPROM. Other configs were 8031/8032 with external EPROM, that would also run...

Need help identifying a large TO-3 "transistor"

I see your question (and the answers) on Reddit etc. The 8088 PSU has one LM317. Maybe your PSU has two? Trace the schematic, but if there are three pins and the one is an input and the other is an output and the third has a resistive divider hanging off of it -- LM317.

    PC-2 / PC-1500 problem

Yup, mine did exactly the same. It's a plastic / rubber spacer block that grows fur and disintegrates. You can remove it and clean up with IPA etc.

Who knows something about the old NEC PC-6001A around here?

    Bondwell 14 disks

I have Bondwell 12 images up at http://retro.co.za/ccc/bondwell/ (which I ripped) but those might have found their way into MAME, dunno.

I hang out in Slovenia too so can provide address there.

What to do with a 68 K-based CPU board used in the 1990' for piloting a bank of modems.

I would definitely make an SBC out of that. Looks to have everything you need. Sure, dump the ROMs, but for starters hook up the serial ports one by one and see what comes out. From what I remember one needs to do at least some termination on the VME bus for a board to come up, I have...
