    Maxtor XT-1140 MFM drive short?

    Hello, I picked up a Maxtor XT-1140 that probably hasn't been powered on since the 1980s. +12V to ground - 35 ohms. Bad? +5V to ground - 1.2 kohms Suggestions on where to start? I'll probably just bring it to one of the repair workshops sometime.
