    ADTpro null modem cables

The cabling is possible, but I don't think there is ADTPro software for classic Mac OS. Only macOS (Mac OS X), Linux and Windows.

    VCF Midwest - who's going?

I’ll be there. This will be my first of these kind of gatherings, so I’m quite excited.

The South WTT: Want to Trade C64, Apple2e, DEC, SGI for Atari, Mac or PC

Um, what?!? Apple never left the desktop market. They've been selling iMacs for over 20 years and Mac Minis for almost 20. These are not "super high end workstations". Those are the Mac Pro and Mac Studio. I think what was confusing wperko was Apple's Intel era. During that time they used many...

Is there a way of connecting my Macintosh classic to an external display

I used this method from Adrian Black on mine to get video out through an RGBtoHDMI. Works pretty well.

I think Google can get me there. That will be an early start for me, but I should be able to make it. Thanks. I really appreciate it!

That's great! Yeah, I am still a moderated user so it takes approval for my posts to show and I can't send or receive direct messages. I could come on Saturday, also. If you want to coordinate via email you can reach me at username at gmail. Thanks!

Quoting myself to increase visibility. A lot of posts came in before mine was approved. (Of course, this one might suffer the same fate.) I'd be able to come up on a weekend day or possibly a Friday, if any of the Macs or Commodore stuff remains. Thanks.

    Your first Atari, and last?

My first was a 2600 jr I found at a Habitat ReStore. Not where I've expect to find something like that. My last was an Atari 800 I got from a nearby auction place. Came with a bunch of carts and disk and tape drive. It works, but it needs a cleaning badly.

    Greetings from WV

Hello everyone! My name is Todd. I've had an account for a while, but I've mostly been a lurker. I'm relatively new to collecting vintage computers. I've been doing for a couple of years. I started just trying to collect the computers I had as a kid, but then started to fill in other computers...

    Laser 128 Troubleshooting

I have a sick Laser 128. Before I dive in on troubleshooting, I thought I'd see if anyone had seen similar issues, so I might get a head start. I have the base Laser 128, but it is the second rev that came out with the EX. It appears to be mostly functional, but shows a black screen. When I...
