ok right now im able to write a MS-DOS image to the disk with 1 or 2 errors and the computer will boot but it will get stuck on starting MS-DOS and i was able to get it to write secsessfully but it says its not a system disk im hoping that the disk is bad and when i get some new ones they will...

ok the main error i get right now with winimage is, Disk error on track ,head , floppys do not match how can i fix this ?

i can format the disk on the ps/2 but when i try to write to it with winimage i select write only but it will still format it and then write to it, how do i skip this ?

what ive been doing is formating the disks on the system using the starter disk and ill try to write the image to them using winimage, im just using a generic usb floppy drive of amazon but i am looking at getting an ibm one

it has a 1.44m drive

i belive the drive is working, i am able to coppy the starter disk onto the floppy and then boot from it so reading and writing is working, also when i got the system i took the top of the drive and cleand the heads and the rails

yes im happy to use any version of MS-DOS but it did come wit dos 6.22 installed before i broke it

I have orderd some more disks of ebay hopefully that fixes it if anyone has any recomendations to software that works on windows 10 or working MS-DOS images it would be of great help thank you for all the suggestions

I dont have a computor running DOS would you know how i can do it in a VM ?
