IBM 5110 System Logic Manual (SY31-0552-3) and PALM processor info

I suggest a little fun for everyone - let's try to list all the ICs that the IBM 5100/5110 cards are made of - I was able to determine that "those two white 28 pin ICs" are SIGNETICS N82S09I RAM 64x9 28-pin - it seems to be a static memory RAM ps. why can't I edit an earlier added post?

    It's alive, my Datapoint 2200/1100 !

Thank you so much! I wonder if I could take a few more moments of your attention The topic of datapoint machines is very intriguing, and apart from the company's official materials, I have not been able to find answers to several questions

CBM 8032 "factory upgrade" to SuperPET

It turned out that the replacement chips were also faulty, only the 4th 7402 installed made the memory expansion testing game work - the problem is that the software on the 6809 - Waterloo side still does not work

CBM 8032 "factory upgrade" to SuperPET

It could be anything. I have no idea where to look for the cause anymore. I tried to run the memory test program on the expansion board today. It did not start up. I tried to fire up a game (http://www.primrosebank.net/computers/pet/repairs/pet_repairs_ext_ram.htm) that I know is the only one...

CBM 8032 "factory upgrade" to SuperPET

Waterloo menu… I have already landed programs via rs232 and from floppy disk. They never started up. I replaced all the ram on the memory expansion board and one 7402 chip with a broken leg. Still no change Only PIP run. Today it turned out that there are also problems on the 6502 side

CBM 8032 "factory upgrade" to SuperPET

A small update on the topic: I already have zoomfloops, I managed to prepare a floppy disk with Waterloo programs based on the d80 image It turns out that the programs load but don't run. Now there is no longer a strange error message but they still don't work. I also found another faulty...

CBM 8032 "factory upgrade" to SuperPET

Thanks, I think I've already seen this code somewhere I will record it with VICE as tape and load it with tapuino To be sure, is this the basic code for the 6502? also this: http://www.primrosebank.net/computers/pet/repairs/pet_repairs_ext_ram.htm "Edilbert Kirk has written a Z-machine...

CBM 8032 "factory upgrade" to SuperPET

I haven't tried with jump yet - I will try - I found instructions for installing the memory expansion card With TIM/MON and d and f commands I have tried many times - memory is written and read correctly - unless I am testing the wrong range I read somewhere that 8032/SuperPET addresses only...

CBM 8032 "factory upgrade" to SuperPET

Don't be misled by the errors in the earlier screenshots. These were the only photos I had at hand. It took me two days to configure everything so that it does not generate any errors. Everything is working now, programs are uploading without any problems. I still have problems with Waterloo...

CBM 8032 "factory upgrade" to SuperPET

I'm not sure but I think you're looking in the wrong place. If any of the connection steps were wrong no program would load properly.
