    Thanks, @daver2 , I've got the service manual now so I'll check beforehand. It might be a while before I get an 8087 anyway as the two I ordered from Ali Express haven't been shipped so I have a feeling I'll be refunded soon, and will have to hunt down a couple more reasonably priced ones.

    @krebizfan thanks for your reply - I should have downloaded the Service Manual before posting! I was really planning to install the 8087 to play around, and see what I could do with it. The machine is always plugged into the mains, and is never run from batteries, so that shouldn't be a problem...
