Have you seen this listing, @kobura ?

Not my listing but I knew someone was on the lookout for one. Just needs a bit of work... :)
Hi folks,
I know this is a longshot, but I'm looking for the keyboard/trackpad/cover assembly to complete the Sterling portable computer in the attached picture. There's one listing up on eBay that might work, but I trust you folks more. :)
I haven't been able to gather much info about the...
Now that the consignment system is up and running...
Do folks usually discuss what they're bringing and/or what they're hoping to see ahead of time? Since it's my first year attending (and also first consigning) I'm trying to figure out what to bring. :)
Here's a few more for your tally:
HP Elite Mini Desktop [i3]: 13.23 sec
Main Desktop [i9]: 3.37 sec
Sadly, I don't have FORTRAN running on any vintage machines to test out the alternate code. I'll be better prepared next Pi Day. :)
Hey @pski . I know it's likely obvious from the model numbers, but I figure it can't hurt to confirm: are you focused on desktop systems only? Since their laptops (1800, 2800, etc.) are technically in the 1000-5000 range numerically, I suppose there's a (slight) possibility. :)
Zooming in a bit, the model number seems to end in 5 rather than S. There are a few on eBay at the moment, and they don't seem too bad price-wise. I think this link will bring up all the results: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=d359t5&_svsrch=1
Just in case it does not, here's one example...
Great to meet you, @utuberangerbob ! I lived in western MA for a few years myself, but never managed to pick up any vintage toys. That didn't pick up again until I moved to the land of no sales tax. :)
Sounds awesome. Thanks, Seaken!
I've registered and got the room booked, so now it's just a matter of driving 5-ish hours. Well, that, and hoping no work conflicts pop up between now and then.
I'll admit that while I do have the original CRT monitor for the IIe, for nostalgia/completeness's sake, I found a 4:3 LCD monitor to actually use. The old eyes just ain't what they used to be!
Welcome aboard!
Seaken's mention of a 10-year Raypro project is a bit scary. When it comes to repair projects and time constraints, I prefer to go with the "ignorance is bliss" approach. :)
Welcome! It's really cool to see someone earlier on in their computer journey appreciative of these classic computers. I have a lot of fond memories of my old Dell Inspiron E1705 laptop. Since I got it as a student using an additional loan, I suppose I'm still paying for it... so the memories...
From one recent member to another, hello!
I've always wanted to learn more about Amigas, but haven't had the chance until recently. I've got a 1200 that needs a bit of TLC before I try to power it up, Looking forward to joining the club.
