I have a tandy 1000 TL . I would like a 14k modem internal with software. I saw one on ebay but somwone brought it. Pc XT compatible. Thank You

Wow, I had totally forgotten that 14.4K modems existed at all. I read that and thought "14K, huh, I don't remember those!" Then, some old cells kicked in, oh ya, 14.4K. In fact, at one time, everyone was scrambling to get one, as it was a real leap from 9600 Baud.

Unfortunately, I wasn't smart enough to keep any of those old modems.

Yeah, brings back fond memories of my USR dual standard external. *Sigh*

Talk about your sexy pieces of hardware. It looked good even turned off.

Anyway, I have a whole box of internal and external modems to go through and test over the next couple of weeks. If I find a 14.4, I'll let you know if you haven't picked one up by then.

Surprise, D.! I threw a 33.6 X-Jack PCMCIA into your box today (untested of course, since I don't have a fone line to jack it into). Call if ya get a chance.
