Hi,
I agree with Timo ... the basic Altair 8800c costs less than half the price he's asking for. IF he's added more S-100 boards to add more features, then perhaps it's worth more, but no photos or board listings etc. the whole post is on the edge of a scam.
BTW, I'm selling 35-year stored 8" Shugart 800-2 floppy drive for $175 including shipping. I also have a Shugart 801 drive for $200 including shipping.
IF somebody wants to give me $1,500 for my Altair 8800c (Reproduction MITS 8080 CPU, 88-2SIOJP and FDC+ boards) + I'll give them all the software I have on .DSKs too. Currently, the computer is setup to run the 1976 CBBS ... world's first BBS program, and also has a few specially configured for the Altair 8800c computer dial-up terminal programs.
I also have tons of 2732 and 2764 EPROMs ... ten for $10 + $10 S&H.
