Hello!
I have a story about a Xerox Alto (supposedly) that you may like! My grandmother was at the school one time because she helped out there a lot. They had recieved, by her description,"Computers with tall monitors". Please note this was in about 1973, she said the technicians set them up and her son played on them. The only people excited about them at the school were her and the principal. At first I thought,"That sound like an Alto.." but wasn't sure. I couldn't think of any other computers but then later I asked her if they had a mouse (They recieved two). She said she was pretty sure it did. Now if that isn't a complete dead giveaway I don't know what is. Does anyone else have any information on how real this could be, or what computer it was? I would really be suprised if my grandmother touched the very first computer with a mouse.
