Friend of mine has a //c that's working great. He bought a matching external 5-1/4 drive off ebay but, it doesn't seem to work. When you plug it in and turn the computers power on the drive light on the computer just stays lit and no drives will work.
He wants me to take a look at it for him but, I'm not up on my 20 year old floppy drives. Is this a common or known condition on these things that can be fixed fairly easily or is this on of those 'could be anything' type mysteries that will take some time to track down ?
