Well, I knocked one off, the 486 is now fixed yet again after the preevious PSU blew up (bad caps, burned coil, discolored wiring, and a wacky smell)....I'm now down to two spares, after this, I just might have to turn to E-bay/Thrifts/VCFM for some more AT PSU. Sucks a bit as I don't have a Y Cable so no 5.25" Floppy for me for awhile, but I have been tempted to yank all the ZIP Drives in my old boxes for awhile now and that could free one up, but will leave a gaping hole where it was.

Right now the biggie is figuring out what to do with the extra P4 system I have. It had 2 bad memory modules (that's what took it down in the first place), so now I'm thinking I'll just fix it up and sell it, I really have no need for a P4 since I have a Pentium D dual core box with an 8800GT under the hood, which is plenty for me, even when I do game (which is rare), and the Dual Core has all my shit on it being my main box.

The Tandy is running great, got some footage, but it now has me in wanting for a scan converter so I can record the output from my VGA boxes to my main computer for Youtube. Would be cool to see some of the oddball setups in action to some people I"m sure.

The 286 is still being it's crazy reliable self. I'm considering pulling the ZIP drive for a CD-ROM though as I"m tempting getting away from ZIP Drives altogether since I hardly use them anymore. Just get my media down to SD, CD, Floppy, and HDD.

The Todo list on the XT is mainly just fix the problems with networking, and reinstall that kooky old CD-ROM drive into it and get it working with a compatible driver. Once I do that, it'll be time to yank that ZIP drive in the 486 and put in a media-bay reader....either off the IDE bus or an ISA USB card (yes, they DO exist).

I also kind-of want to find some 10/100 or Gigabit (if they exist) network cards, mainley for the 286 and 486...the 486 especially since I plan to take that box a little farther soon.

The 486 has the longest list still...I need to nab overlays for the 40 and 80GB drives I have, setup the alternate jumpers, put overlays on them, and boot managers, and install all the other versions of Windows I want to use per partition with apropriate programs. THat and upgrade to 128MB of RAM for when I run Windows 2000 Pro on it (I feel 128MB of RAM on a 486 DX4 running w2K will be modern enough to tempt it to run anything).

Also, I"m STILL looking for a driver for my Mediavision ProGraphics 1280! I might spend some time on wayback machine looking for them if possible.
