That's cool stuff. A little story: Way back in 1968 I was assigned to an aircraft squadron aboard the newly commissioned John F. Kennedy (CVA-67). Our squadron maintenance analyst had just returned from a man hour accounting class and had his new calculator in tow. It had a ball type print head similar to the new IBM Selectric typewriters, and was the first dot matrix, spinning print head, Nixie tube device any of had ever seen. It had a special paper roll and made a sound like a machine gun when it was doing its thing. He wouldn't let anyone near it. Just a hint of things to come.
