Are these anything special? I found a box of 10 Digital DX18K floppy disks at the thrift store today, apparently unused, with the original sleeves, "Formula One" labels, and write protect labels. There is no indication of what media type they are (single/double sided, single/double/high density, etc.), and a web search turned up nothing.

That is correct, they are for the VT180 Robin. They will be SSSD (180k) floppies. Basically a single sided version of the 360k (DS) floppies for a PC.

I have a Robin and learned about RX180 drives when I had to "make my own" (I used Tandon TM100s and made my own cable to go to the back of the Robin).

I'm glad you knew well enough to pick them up. I never actually saw disks labeled like this.
