For your viewing pleasure, Tech Republic (http://techrepublic.com.com/) has a feature where they put up gallery images of "dinosaurs of computing."

They recently contacted me for permission to use images of some of my collection. The two features above are the first of these from my site, although they've published many others in the past.

The Altair gallery is being featured on their front page and in their newsletters.

Enjoy!

Good going! But I found an error: "This Rev 0 CPU card has the rare Intel 8080 chip. Most Altairs were powered by the Intel 8080."

By the way, of the very limited PET experience I have acquired recently, I must say those who open by folding the monitor backwards are nicer than those who fold the monitor forwards (typically having an external keyboard). I'm not entirely sure for which reasons Commodore changed the design.
