I've installed a PCMCIA 3com network card in my contura 430c with win95, it work good i also now try to get a D-Link DWL650 up, and working (because i want to use the laptop as wireless router for my XT).

I checked the manual at

ftp://ftp.dlink.co.uk/wireless/dwl-650/dwl-650_manual.pdf
and it seem to be win95 compatible, but i have also tried to download the drivers when i start installation it says nothing about win95 compability only 98 and up, the program will install the drivers but they do not work.

The version i found and downloaded is
dwl650_driver_1737F.exe
is this wrong version?

Could anyone point me to a correct driver for win95 and DWL650 (not plus)

Might be able to hack the setup itself. Most of then just required a change in one line to make it work. Let me check to see if there is another driver you might be able to use though.

Sorry for delay. Very, very easy fix. Edit setup.ini and add 95 to it.

So it looks like this:

[Startup]
AppName=Windows 95,98,Me,2k,XP Driver
[Languages]
Default=0x0009
count=1
key0=0x0009
