Hi Guys,
I will be clearing out a lot of computer parts and software over the next several months as time permits. Right now I have a Tecra 740CDT laptop which I want to give away to someone who can use it. It has a built in CD drive and an external 1.44 floppy drive. Also included is the power supply.
But here is the caveat. The floppy drive spins but does not read the floppies. This makes the machine unusable if it ever needs to be reloaded since it cannot boot off the CD. If you think you can fix the floppy drive you will have a fully functional machine in great shape. I can't remember what OS is on it now but it is either MS DOS 6.20, Win95 or Win98.
This must be picked up in person in Bloomfield, NJ. I will not ship this item. So if you are interested, drop me a PM. Hopefully someone comes to the rescue of this machine and I don't have to send it to recycling.
