While surfing the net for floppy drive info I came across this nifty bit of software that allows you to format a floppy for quite a few different systems using your IBM compatible PC. I haven't tried it yet but if it works as advertised then it could prove useful.
It comes with definitions for 23 different formats and there is a text file with 100 more defs. Also, you can specify your own parameters for a custom format. The 1.6MB and 1.7MB formats for 3.5 inch drives is included.
