I have a Gateway Colorbook 2000 with what is most likely a bad motherboard. No lights, no matter what I try to do with it. The machine is nearly flawless and very clean. I did disassemble it to remove the CMOS battery. Would anyone happen to have one of these laying around that they're willing to part with? Or is anyone in need of one? I either want to fix this thing or get it to someone who needs it. I don't want to just junk it. I do not have a (correct) charger for it. It came with a Dell charger nearly identical, but keyed. The previous owner whittled down the key on the charging end and I guess was using it that way. I wired in a 19V supply with the correct tip from a universal kit, but it still would not power on.
