Hello! a little insight into my warped/screwed up Mind!
i'm 38 going on 39 (gods i hate the fact im about to hit my 40's), i grew up in Michigan (clinton Township)and lived in the surrounding area for so long in my life till the the start of the pandemic. (to which i had to move and the only open home w/ friends , far in the south.) I'm a furry , but keep to myself in thart regard. (i goto cons once in awhile, but im a wallflower, i get nervous in public spaces.)
Some of my Best memories are using the various early computers from the late 80's to mid 90's when Windows 3.1 and 9X was the Norm, when it was Simple compared to today. growing up over the years, i had Various computers of the time, some i would find trash picking, (i couldn't pass on computers considered old even for the time!), even my old middle school's IT Department i was able to pickup hardware no longer in use!
i Primarily keep to vintage Computing as not just a hobby but a means to keep alive those early memories, and i tend to prefer real hardware over emulation (atleast when PC's come into play. not a high priority anymore w/ older game consoles.). my Obsession to a degree as i've been told by my friends and my remaining family, is keeping me grounded to the past.
I currently have a handful of Project builds (for range of Games and the current system im trying to get up n going to mostly cover early windows 3.x games n mostly point n click Dos games.), i have alot of older game consoles, and handhelds!
with as much as Vintage gaming / computing is my primary hobby, im into modern things as well (VR, working to make textures for such.) i have passing intrests in dnd, TCG's Tabletop games.
i found VCF while trying to find more info on an "Mystery" Dell based 486 Motherboard.
