This is my third message, so I guess I'm late introducing myself.
Vintage computers for me are nostalgic, as I don't do anything with them. I did, back when they weren't vintage yet. And I might still, if I had lots more time on my hands not already filled by work and a couple of other hobbies.
I used to do a good deal of programming as a hobby, and a little for money and college credit. Now I do very little, for odd jobs at work and the occasional small Arduino project. Still, I look back fondly to getting started with a COSMAC Micro Tutor (the manufactured version of the Elf). And to the VIP and the AIM-65 I had and still have, my dad's KIM-1 and SYM-1, the IMSAI that he and I shared, and my friends' TRS-80s, and some other odd stuff. Those were the days.
So, though I may never be a regular here, I'm glad I found you.
