Hi,
I would like to know if anyone has successfully transferred files from a NorthStar hard sector floppy disk to a PC using a CompatiCard II. If so, would you please explain what and how you did it?
Recently, I obtained a CompatiCard II and it appears according to the COMP.OS.CPM FAQ and another webpage the transfers are possible:
http://www.gaby.de/faq.htm#13
http://www.southernskye.net/IBMPC.html
However, I am a bit unclear on the details of how this is done. What software is required? Uniform/PC? 22Disk? Some other program?
My plan is to get a legacy PC, install the CompatiCard II and any required software and transfer legacy data from the NorthStar Horizon to the PC.
Thanks in advance for your wisdom on the subject.
