I am looking for Atari800, Amiga1000 and others

Mattel Aquarius are quite common on eBay. I've seen three and bid on two recently. Around £15-20 + shipping unboxed.

I see so many Amstrad CPC that I forget to look if they are Plus models or not. I suppose not, since those are the ones you are looking for.

A few months ago I witnessed in person the sale of an Amiga 1000. I could've bought it myself if I wanted. The same seller recently aquired a boxed Acorn Atom, possibly for sale. PM me if you want contact details. He may also have a boxed Enterprise 128, but perhaps you're only looking for a 64.

It would seem that the OP is located in Turkey. I imagine that might be an issue for some, particularly with regard to shipping.

Yeah, I sent him a note but did say it's probably easiest and best if he looks for someone in europe to deal with vs US, although it depends how hard it is to find some of those over there. Even some simple european computers don't pop up over here very often so if he really wants it may be a neat way to get a hard to find (for america) computer although I can't even begin to guess the shipping time.

Hopefully it's not as bad as some countries like T's first shipment to Africa (Malawi?). I think originally it was thought to be stolen/confiscated by the post office there. A second setup was sent and something around 6 months later the original package did arrive.

Yep, six months, USA --> Malawi. Mebbe that's why the USPS did away with surface mail? (The guy at the post office said the captain had fallen asleep at the helm).

I'm quite sure the Aquariuses I've seen were specified as worldwide shipping, albeit from "expensive" UK. If he lives in a country few people dare to ship stuff to (*), I suppose he should take his collection and emigrate to a neighbouring country, or stick with what he can get.

(*) Russia is one example of a country some sellers hesitate to ship to, unless they know the buyer and he/she takes all risks for lost goods.

Thanks for replies...

I have bought several computers from US, Canada, UK and Germany and don't have any problem. Old computers and game consoles isn't problem for Turkey. shipping time changes..But surface mail from Canada tooks about 2 months. I got lots of CDs and games from UK in only 2-3 days.

I have also available this computers for trade. May be some of you want to look...

thanks a lot friends..

Yup, I've shipped stuff surface parcel from Canada before and, it seems, no matter where you're sending it, it takes 8 weeks.

Must take that long to fill a container.

I have seen Gokhans attempts to acquire a collection of computers over several years and altho at first sceptical, I exchanged emails and beleive he is credible. It impresses me that he still places such appeals knowing that his country of origin is suspect. I have never sent him any computer but see no problem if the price and cost of shipping is received in advance. That of course also requires a leap of faith on his part which I am sure he would agree to.
