Hello all,

The fellow (not me) who earlier posted the M7555 with accessories has a new auction up on eBay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/331130549173?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

I have never heard of this machine before. It looks like it's brand new by the pictures. And, instead of the Heathkit H11s that are all going for $1500, this is priced like a steal!

What is the history on this model? I have had a hard time finding info on line.

That could be a fun little box. An SB11 chassis with an H9281-BA 4-slot Q-Bus backplane, an M7270 LSI-11/2 CPU, and an M8047-CA MXV11-AC 16-KW RAM, 2 async SLU, and 2 24-pin ROM sockets, which look like they are populated with some ROMs. If you stuck some sort of storage controller in there you could have a small RT-11 system. It would be hard to do too much else with it without doing more upgrades.

For ebay it was very reasonable. And in that condition and rarity, definitely. I was close to my limit, had not shipping been so high I would have bid.

I always wanted a tiny pdp11, and was seriously jonesing for that thing. When the bidding went north of $160 that feeling went away... More fun (and cheaper by far) to build a four slot qbus system, but best of luck to the winner though.
