Hello, I just bought an Apple IIe from eBay. I've never worked with one before. Are there any disks that I absolutly need to use this computer? It has only one of the two disk drives. Can I use two number two drives, or do I need to have one number one, and one number two floppy drive? Are there any good sites where I can get games for it other than eBay?

Welcome to the wonderful world of the Apple II! The disks you need will depend on what you want to do with the computer. A good place to start looking for software is here:

ftp://ftp.apple.asimov.net/pub/apple_II/

you'll find disk images of just about all the available Apple II software.

As to the drive, does it have the cable with a 19 pin connector on the end which plugs into the back of the computer or is it a ribbon cable that you have to connect inside the computer? Regardless you can use any similar drive to the one you already have, the numbers don't matter (at least as far as I know).
