LA120 oil

The LA120 maintenance manual calls for "infrequent" oiling of the print head support rails with Nye #622-00 oil, needless to say it's no longer available; I know nothing about lubricants, but I suspect it was a synthetic mineral oil.

Can anyone suggest a modern equivalent?

Nye Lubricants is still in business. Perhaps you can call them and they can tell you the nearest equivalent?

Sewing machine oil is a good substitute.
3 in 1 oil is a classic for small mechanical components.
