I've got a number of files on an early Mac IIci that I'd like to transfer to a pc. How does one go about doing that?

The way I do it is I have an Ethernet card, and I connect it to an early Mac running OS9. Unless you have a pile of networking hardware, I don't think you can get there in one step all the way to a PC without an intervening Mac. Some more related info is here:

Or maybe transfer them across the serial port with some software...

Since this gentleman contacted me and I referred him here, it might be important to know that he doesn't seem to have a monitor.

I suggested getting an adapter to an 3 row VGA from the Mac 2 row, but, I don't know if he found a monitor or is getting an adapter, so, the IIci may be blind.
