I have a roughly 13GB hard drive that I'm getting ready to back up and install a drive overlay software on. It's a 486DX4/100 with 16MB and Warp 3 ran pretty well previously. I need to get an XTIDE ROM someday, but for now I'm going to stick with Ontrack Disk Manager. I vaguely know there are some weird things about OS/2 and where in the partition map its boot files can, as well as DOS itself. Any tips on how to partition? This would be OS/2 Warp 3.network comm? Last time I did it I did:
10MB Primary Boot Parition with OS/2 Boot Manager
100MB Primary MS-DOS Partition with just the OS
512MB Primary OS/2 Partition
1,500 (or so) MB extended partition with all the shared programs/games that both needed access to.
Can I slipstream any drivers into the install floppies to make OS/2 less picky about its install?
