Hi. If you represent a computer or science or aerospace museum, or if you are a collector with substantial resources, that might be interested in a significant acquisition of a historically-important 1964-vintage mainframe computer, then I would like to hear from you. Please send me your postal mailing address and I will send you a package of information. Postal mailing only. Thanks.

Why are you insisting on postal mailing only? Is there any information that you would share by email or electronically if a person contacted you that way? You might be trying to weed out the non-serious offers, but I'm sure that there are better ways to do it.

Well, I dunno....this just seemed easiest for me. What i have to send is too big for easy e-mailing--16 B&W pages and 4 color and I have no working scanner. Plus as I thought about it and looked online, it seems like there are many "museums" with no actual physical presence or resources. This machine needs a real home with 208 three phase power and some HVAC. It can't live on a page on a web site.

Can you share what it is that you have? There are other people here who might be able to point you in the right direction, but right now the offer is too vague for anybody to consider seriously.

Don, I couldn't find a way to contact you. If you see this message then please reach out to me -- evan@infoage.org -- I'm with the InfoAge Science Center, located in New Jersey, where we host a substantial collection and museum of computer history. Anyone on this forum can vouch for us. We have plenty of resources to rescue a mainframe from the Pittsburgh area.
