My dad used to own a computer store in North N.J. during the early/mid 1980's. I've been pretty successful over the last 4 years selling Apple II, Commodore and Atari software on eBay, but now dwindling down to IBM software.

How do I know what is what? Did IBM software run on DOS and everything compatible with DOS? Some of the software I have says Compaq compatible and all confused with XT, AT and PCjr.

Here are some examples of what Im not sure this will work with

1982- EasyWriter version 1.10

1984 - Wordstar 2000+ = XT/AT DOS 2.0 2.1 3.0

Sealed Boxes

1983 - HumanSoft DBPlus -- IBM Format

IBM Hardware Maintenance & Service - Color Jetprinter 3852-2

IBM Hardware Maintenance & Service - Quietwriter Printer 5201

Lots of this sofware weighs very heavy and come in hard boxes or containers, and some still sealed in plastic.

Easy Writer is for 5150.
It need system with two floppy drives.
It will run on every PC, it could be bootable.

That WordStar will run on everything...

1983 - HumanSoft DBPlus -- IBM Format

I didn't heard about something like this.
Maybe it's database program... will run on everything too.

Two last are printer drivers (?)

Compaq compatible... it will propably run on IBM machine too.
Compaq was 99% compatible to IBM PC.
