Greetings,

Today I finished a batch of my minimalistic and Low Cost General Purpose Fujinet v1.6

These are called general purpose, due to the interface its not only dedicated to Atari 8 bits computers
the unit is detachable, a DB15 to SIO (Atari 8 bits), DB15 to DIN6 (C64), DB15 to RJ12 (Coleco Adam), DB15 to DB19 (Apple II)...

allows you to connect the Fujinet v1.6 to each supported (currently or future) computer such Atari 8 bits - Coleco Adam -
Commodore 64 (remember that C64 is not released yet by Fujinet team)

The unit includes all the hardware elements of Fujinet v1.6, also the Coleco Adam interface components.
Via jumpers, you can select the desired operation, if Atari 8 bits SIO or if you desire Coleco Adam Interface.

As well, the unit can be powered externally, or via the SIO interface. There is a jumper to change this selection.

The USB interface is included, in order to update the device.
Microcontroller is the same, an ESP32 WROVER with 16 MB flash and 8 MB PSRAM

A photograph:

-Operating the LC Fujinet v1.6 in an Atari 8 bits ( a bit darkened video, sorry):

-Operating the LC Fujinet v1.6 in a Coleco Adam computer:

I tested the Low Cost Fujinet v1.6 multiplatform version I manufactured
in a real Coleco Adam.

Price of an unit is 59€ (comes with an Atari SIO cable or a Coleco Adam cable);

each additional cable such Coleco Adam or Atari SIO takes 9€ per cable
plus 6€ of tracked shipment to Spain, or 10€ for Europe, or 11€ for USA, or 12€ for rest of the world.

So this unit works both on atari 8-bit and coleco adam? Thats great. I dont have an ADAM yet but hope to one day. I have plenty of Atari computers on the other hand.

Yes, the same piece of hardware works in Atari 8 bits as a v1.7 Atari-Fujinet or in Coleco Adam as a v1.0 Coleco-Fujinet

The only differences is the cable to be used, for Atari mode it uses a DB15 to SIO; and for Coleco Adam it uses a DB15 to RJ12
And the Fujinet firmware to be flashed (but as you know the firmware can be changed anytime).

So you need to chsnge the firmware to be able to use it for the adam and the atari? Is thst correct. Can you explain whats involved or needed to update the firmware? And lastly do you hsve a 3d printed case for it?

Yes, you need to change the firmware; and change the position of onboard jumpers (jumpers change the routed signals of the board, from Atari ones to Coleco);
as well use a different DB15 cable, due to Atari 8 bits uses a DB15 to SIO connector, and Coleco Adam a DB15 to RJ12

The firmware to be used is the official Fujinet ones, that can be flashed in a Windows / Mac computer using the official Fujinet flasher tool via a standard micro USB cable,
here is the download page for the Fujinet flasher tool:

As far I know there are no .stl file for 3D printers

I bought one on eBay from a UK seller, but it's open source so you could assemble it yourself. The stl files are in the github repo, for example:

If you plan to use it for multiple systems go for the version in the OP. I just needed something for Atari, therefore I went with the ready made solution in the case.
