NJ Maker's Day at InfoAge

New Jersey Makers Day @InfoAge Science & History Museums

For our third year, the spirit of STEAM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) and history will come alive as InfoAge celebrates the annual statewide celebration of hands-on exploration and creativity.

Date: Saturday March 16 & Sunday March 17, 2024
Time: 12 noon to 5 PM (museum hours)
Location: 2201 and 2300 Marconi Road, Wall NJ
Hundreds of visitors joined us in our first two years for a slew of activities encouraging exploration, imagination, and teamwork. Volunteers from Garden State Central Railroads, the Military Technology Museum, NJ Antique Radio Club, Vintage Computer Federation, and our other nonprofits offered hands-on challenges enjoyed by all ages.
Past activities included making lasercutting souvenirs, mini model train layouts, soda bottle divers, “victory” gardens, soldered circuits, crypto codes, and programs and printings on vintage computers. We’re also planning to host a slate of MakerTalks– a big hit from last year– where student and adult innovators share their work and stories of innovation.
Free Makers Day activities will be held in the dining hall of the 1912-era Marconi Hotel. All twenty-one museums and exhibits across our 27 acre campus will be open for regular operating hours from noon to 5 pm, many offering additional activities in their spaces that are included in the price of discounted admission over Makers Day weekend.
Check back here regularly for updates!

All twenty museums and exhibits across the 47 acre campus will be open for regular operating hours from noon to 5 pm. Many museums will offer additional STEM projects in their spaces, included in the price of discounted admission for families with children participating in Makers Day weekend.
