Change your mboard settings to display more history. - here's why
A person who is not logged into this board (such as a potential new member) will see only posts that are less than 24 hours old. I believe that the "lack of visible activity" impression will cause a person to think that there is no activity on the board. As a result they will be less likely to join.
A single-day's activity is not enough to make the board look well traveled.
I also suggest doing some searches for recent posts (made in the past two months) to see if the search engines like Google are correctly picking up the post activity. If they scan once per week, they will only see 1/7 the posts. I am not sure if the text version of this board is available to the search engines without the filtering, but you get my concern.
