Hi All;
I have a Remex Paper Tape Reader, what Unibus Module would I use to connect to it ?? It is 8 bits parallel and one hole sense bit, along with forward and reverse control.. What would normally be used on a Unibus type of machine, which Board ?? I do not think I have the board, but since some of what I have I don't know what they are or what they are used for.. I figure it doesn't hurt to ask..

What model is it? Maybe there's documentation for it out there. Is there a recognizable connector? I know there are some RS-232 tape readers out there...

Hi John;
I have the Documentation for it, I used to use it on my DG Eclipse S130. The connector to the Remex is a DB-25, though not parallel nor serial, special all its own.. For the Eclipse, I made my own Cable.. My friend Bruce Ray has a Serial RS-232 Punch and Reader, that I have borrowed from time to time, mostly to copy Paper Tapes for my Altair.. What I am looking for is What did DEC used for their Paper Tape Readers ??
