So, I have a bunch of Qbus stuff and other things to get rid of

I have lots of things that I have accumulated in my years of working with and playing with DEC hardware
starting in the late '70s that are just taking up space now.

I do not want to spend the next years try to peddle them board by board on ebay. I'd rather just give
it all a good home. I don't want to spend time shipping it, either.

If I compile a complete list of inventory, what next? Is posting here a good start? Other places I should
do the same?

The list would include 3 dozen+ random qbus boards (CPUs, memory, controllers, A/D and D/A convertors,
and what not), 2 RX02 dual drives, 2 ADAC Qbus chassis, 2 PDT11s, complete sets of documentation
for RT11 v3 & v4, plus at least one set of VMS V5 manuals, all in binders. RT11 bootable RX disks.
10 RK05 packs. Plus a host of other stuff I won't mention here.

Any ideas anyone? I'm in the LA area.

Torfinn,
Did you mean on this site? Like: marketplace.vintage-computer.com or somewhere else?

Roger

Well there is the for sale or trade section of this forum and there also is the marketplace.

It's always nice to have a couple RK packs should I get hold of another drive. Good thing you are on this coast too because that means it's less painful to ship.

are the rk paks pdp8 compatible?

I am going to guess No, since the rest of the stuff seems to be pdp-11 based. There are 12 sector
packs and 16 sector packs. I forget which is which now. One is for the 11, the other is for the 8.

Hello Roger,

Well, I'd most certainly be interested in RK05 and RX02 media. I'm currently in the process of trying to restore a PDP-11/35, and have no media to test with at the moment, apart from a single (possibly bad) RK05 pack that was stored and shipped in the drive.

I'm located in the SF Bay Area, and a trip to LA is pretty easy for me.
