Gang,
I have been having a problem with not being able to see people's replies to my messages when I accessed the Vintage Computer Forums with my cellphone. I would click on the link to the newer messages and would get a page with a message saying that I had not specified a thread.
I just found a work-around for this problem. If one scrolls towards the bottom of the message page, zie will see a link called "Linear mode". Clicking this link will display multiple messages in a thread one after the other, so you can view subsequent messages. I am not sure what the maximum number of messages is, but it should always work for the first few after you ask a question.
