Tatung 14" CGA Monitor (P/N: CM-1360)

I picked this monitor up from a local recycling center when I got some other items. It was pretty dirty when I got it, so I cleaned it both inside and out. The exterior case does have some moderate scuffing and what looks like a soldering iron melt mark near the front face of the CRT.

It powers up and I'm able to get this image out of it:

This is as far as I can test it. The garbage on the screen is from my EGA/CGA card, not the monitor. My EGA/CGA card has bad RAM (and potentially other parts) and stopped outputting a stable picture 15 years ago. The screen doesn't seem to get very bright, but that could be because of my junk video card.

It's yours for the cost of shipping + $15.

Sorry to dig up this post. But are you 100% sure you used a CGA/EGA card to test this monitor? I've picked up one of these recently but can't get it to display an image on a CGA or MDA card. I haven't tried EGA specifically.

Thank you. I saw this post after figuring out my CGA card must be faulty. I tested with an original IBM CGA card and it worked perfectly.
