hey all. i'm in possession of two coprocessor cards that i am considering trading for something else, i have not decided yet because i'm not really sure what's out there.
the Osprey is a full-length ISA card with a xilinx3 FPGA, J11 CPU, and 4MB of RAM. boots and runs all the PDP11 software your heart desires. last time i used it it worked and passed all diagnostics but i will verify this before trade. works in NT4 and W2k, pick your poison.
the P/390 is an IBM PC Server System/390, a bit larger than a modern full tower ATX PC. 95A MCA planar, 90MHz pentium, 32MB ECC. the P/390 itself is an MCA card and has the 96MB expansion for a full 128MB of main storage. passes all diagnostics, IPLs VM, works perfectly. i will be including the whole system as originally shipped, with the documentation and media from the previous owner. nothing interesting, it's all been archived by now, but there are floppies for VARPG and such. the hard drive backplanes will need some TLC but aside from that it is in perfect working condition. since it is quite heavy and large i will not be able to ship it, partially because i am concerned about the costs but also i do not want to put such a nice system in the hands of UPS or fedex.
this is a package deal, at least unless nobody bites. i am in the columbia, MD area and can accommodate pickup from my location, and i am willing to drive 30-40 minutes for drop off.
like i said i am not really sure what is out there. DEC PDP/VAX stuff is always loved. i also maintain a list of things i am actively seeking here. feel free to send me a DM if you have something interesting.
