Trying to format a 360kb disk using IMD, can someone share the settings I need?

Can someone share what settings I need to set in IMD to format a 360kb disk using IMD.

I try to use dos to format and I get invalid media or Track 0 bad - disk unusable

I have a Teac 360k drive that works and a bunch of disks that give me this message when I try to format them.

I have also tried format with /u and I get the same thing.

Do you want to DOS-format (IMD doesn't do this) disks without a lot of mumbo-jumbo? Try FORMATQM - should be on one of the old BBS archives, say, SIMTEL20. It doesn't use the host bios.

you can use IMD to format the disk first and then retry the DOS format

2 sided, 9 sectors per track, 512 byte sectors, 250Kbps data rate, fill byte can be whatever, 1:1 interleave
