VS/MV2000 build period and number of units build

Dear All!

Does anybody have information when the Microvax2000 was build and how many units have been sold?

On the total number of VAX machines I find some hints on the internet that is was similar to the number of PDP11s - around 600.000 units sold.

Can anybody confirm this?

Is the MV2000 the VAX machine with the highest production volume or was that a different model?

If I would come up with my own statistics based on the VAXes in my basement it must have been the uVAX II.

I have my basement populated with no uVAX2 (yet) but at the moment 3 MV2000

The number of MicroVAX II units sold is 110000-120000, at least. Could not find information on the 2000...

I saw a quote in a DEC report that said they sold 60,000 VAXstation 2000s in thefirst year. Couldn't find any other mentions.
