What was that futuristic SNES game with a blonde guy with a sword and rock music?

Hi,

For the life of me I can't remember what this Super NES game is called. It began with a punchy rock soundtrack and you played a guy swinging a sword in a futuristic city. I think he had blonde hair and a blue outfit. What could the game be?

The guy doesn't seem to have blond hair from what I see in the screenshots, but could it be Run Saber?

No, it's not Run Saber, but close... The sword slash animation was much like that, but blue colored I think. The guy maybe was wearing a dark trenchcoat.

Finally found it! It's X-Kaliber 2097.

I don't think I could get past the first level or two; (As with many early Nintendo games I played) But I loved seeing the anime-like animation of the game and jammin' to it's techno music.
