Ontario Windows 2.x Installation Disk/Files

So, here is my conundrum, I have a 286 computer, with ms-dos installed. I want to however, also install Windows 2.x, preferable Windows 2.1, windows/286 onto as a "graphical" interface. I originally wanted to download some windows 2.1 files online , however, most online files i found were disk images and not the full instillation files. My windows 11 machine ids the files as corrupted and will not let me load / mount the files. I don't want to buy the original disks, cause cost, so if anyone has the original disks and can send me the file content or can direct me to a proper site with proper instillation files, that would be great. Or if you have another method to install windows 2.x onto a 286, that would also help, If not, I can still work with ms-dos.

You can simply extract the files from the disk images using e.g. WinImage.

Note however that you can only install from real diskettes. Unlike with Windows 3.0 and up, you can not just copy all files into some folder and install from there.
 
OK, It worked , but there are some issues. I will close this thread here though. Thank you all for the help
