I am looking for two fully function single sided double density 5 1/4" floppy drives for a non-gate array TRS 80 Model 4. My condition is that they work, and they will have to be shipped unless you live near the Kissimmee Florida area then I am willing to pick them up myself. I am willing to pay through PayPal as it is the most secure. Please PM if you have the drives I'm looking for. Again, they must work as in, the drive can read a disk when a disk is inserted into the drive. Price can be negotiated via PM I'm willing to be flexible on the price due to the age of these drives. Thank you and have a good day.

The Radio Shack TRS-80 Model 4 supports 48 TPI & 96 TPI DS/DD 5.25" Floppy Drives, Internal and External.
You can also insert 3.5" floppy's Internal or External. I've used them external.

You could insert a GOTEK as A: drive, and a floppy of your choice for B:, assuming that your Model 4 has
the drive stands in the Computer for mounting the drives.

I prefer to put in original drives as I want my computer to be as close to original to 1984 as possible since that’s when it was built.

Yes, I know that would make it to OEM, but 5.25" floppy's are getting hard to find. And down
the road they are going to disappear. That will be a problem.
