Hi, Hope I've landed on the right forum this time. I'm trying to bring some old computers back to life but lack some of the knowledge I know it will require. I've gathered up a lot of computers I always wanted but life has it's priorities....a home, children, college etc...but soon I'll escape the MATRIX...when I retire....and start resurrecting my collection. Hope you'all can help and I'll be glad to help if I can. Right now I just need some help with this system, I think I need a setup floppy since I can't enter the bios. Is there another way into the bios?
Thanks

Hi, and welcome to the forums!

As a jumping off place, do a Google search for Phoenix bios utility, there are some generic programs that can access the bios. Just put it on a floppy and run it after you boot.

Also, look for the "Ultimate Boot CD." It has quite a few goodies on it. I'm inclined to think that it has some bios utils. It can also make boot floppies. Of course, you must have a machine that can boot from the cd, but most newer machines can.

I know that I have a Phoenix util but since I have a huge stack of unlabeled floppies it won't be easy to find

Guess what? It didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would to find my floppy. It actually had a label.

Send me your email address in a private message and I'll send you the two bios utility files that I have.
