One advantage of living in New Zealand (and being just west of the International date line) is that we are first to see any given date. Midnight has just rolled over here and it's now the 25th December.

Merry Xmas everyone!

Happy Holidays to you and your family too.

Beach and Barbecue weather in New Zealand?

I'll have to take your word for it - I can't figure out that whole day-change thing you guys have going. Australia is something like 7 hours' off of New Mexico, but a completely different day! Very weird... To save my brain power for more important things, like remembering to drive on the wrong side, I simply set my watch at each landing to whatever the pilot says.

Not XMAS here yet but it's XMAS eve day, so Merry Christmas all the same, and if you don't celibrate christmas, a Merry/Happy/Positive-Tidings of whatever you do celibrate, or just have a nice day if you don't celibrate anything. :D

Even it's still the 24th in Norway, we celebrate ChristMass this evening instead of on ChristMass day. We also call it Yule ("Jul") instead of ChristMass.

Merry Yule! ;)

Merry Midwinter holidays everyone!

I'm on the other end of the date line so I just started the 24th (Which I call Christmas) and it seems that I'm the last in line. Besides, I managed to get my own special time zone here so the day starts at noon.
I sure wish that this year Santa would add a spell-checker feature (if possible) to our forum word processor.
That's funny, I've got that on this end. Words not in the dictionary are underlined. Right-click brings up a menu with substitute words and a choice of dictionaries including da_DK, en_GB, or en_US. Actually, that stuff works in any text box.

Ditto for Sweden. I read the Christmas Eve is more important than the Christmas Day in all of Scandinavia, Poland, Hungary and Czech Republic, if I got the list of countries correct. Pretty much all other (European) countries which celebrate Christmas at all focus on the December 25th. Ditto for the Anglo-Saxon countries in rest of the world.

It means it just became December 25 over at my place, and for a great part Christmas is over. Well, of course our holidays span over three days but Christmas Day is when some of the past-Christmas sales (50-70% off) begins. Some hold onto Boxing Day (?) on the 26th, depending how eager you are to get customers to your supermarkets.

But anyway, a merry Christmas no matter what.

I guess you know that we also call it Yuletide in English.

Well, I plan to remain celebrate this Juultide.

I may have misspelled it, but the one referring to sex is "celibate", not "celibrate".. >.>

Anywho Merry Christmas, it's 30 minutes away here now. :)

LOL give up sex....never! Not even when I'm 80!

Merry Christmas everyone. Drive safe if you've got snow/ice. Here in Texas, for the first time ever on record, there is a measurable amount of snow of Christmas eve! 2 inches! My 78 Thunderbird is not at all pleased.
