LinuxLove - check with a moderator before posting on behalf of somebody else. He was banned for a reason.

Just so that everybody is aware of what happened - we are not trying to crater any deals in the works. There was a discussion in another thread that started lightly and turned abusive. There were also extremely troll-like comments posted in another thread. We tried to resolve things by private message first, and those were ignored. So we instituted a temporary ban.

Raven can come back earlier if he chooses - we are just waiting to have a rational conversation. That's up to him.

And remember, any deals that you work out with Raven are private between you and him. While most forum members are honest and willing to bend over backwards, we do have our occasional bad egg out there.

No Compaq Portable stuff at all here. Closest thing is my Panasonic Sr. Partner, but it's not going anywhere and wouldn't help you anyway. :D
 
---Any photos of the AST-branded 486's?--I have an AST Advantage! Adventure 4066d that I want to build and need parts. The monitor is enclosed in the case with everything else--"All-in-One-"
 
I was remembering wrong, sorry. I did this list from memory, originally.. I did used to have an AST box (was a Pentium with TV tuner - still have the mobo/risers if that's of any interest) but these are "ACT", which was probably some local house - not worth a damn, but they are nice cases.

I'd love to see a picture(s) of your AST Advantage! Adventure 4066d.. I love all-in-one machines, especially 486 boxes.
 
Sorry to hear of people having troubles. I know it's not fun having to sell stuff just to make up for a shortfall. With that being said, I would definitely be interested in obtaining a black Lexmark model M13 keyboard with or without pointer and PS2 connector. Also, if you have a set of black keys that will work on a vintage model M made in 1989, I would be interested in those too. Contact me and let's see what we can work out.
 
This is a really late update to let you know that the IIc color monitor arrived safely...a while ago, hehe... I just completely forgot to update you. It works like a charm, and you protected the box quite nicely (thank you for that!)

My IIc+ is now complete... Okay, maybe not, I'm still searching for a 5-1/4 Apple II drive...

That monitor looks like it might have been used very lightly, but it's almost brand new - should last a good long time, and has a great picture. :D

1. No - no pre-486 Compaq gear.
2. Yes, various versions of Lotus 1-2-3 in great condition, in their binders with huge manuals, boxes, all kinds of stuff (at least three different versions). I also have several books concerning it. I've also got at least one copy (similarly good and complete condition) of DBase, maybe two.

No RAM cards left, sold the one I had a while ago. I can't say with 100% assurance, but I don't think I have any SOTA-branded cards either. Thanks for your interest, though.
