Are Convergent 186 Terminals worthy anything to anyone?

Also, please move this if there's a better spot.

This year I picked up a lot of convergent equipment. I just looked in one that was partially disassembled and found out it's a 186. They have these very small 8-12" monochrome green screens I think. The model number on one of the "CPUs" was CP-001/8.

Do these hold any value to anyone? I haven't tested these, but I need to make room so it's either sell/trade or scrapping time.

I might be interested.
What other convergent equipment do you have, or is it just the 186 terminal that's available ?
Can you take a couple of pics, and either post them or PM me ?

It's mostly just terminals, add-on cards/hard drive, keyboards, cables, and monitors and I think maybe a printer or two but they might be from other equipment. The stuff is buried right now so it'll be a few days before I could get some good pictures.

There are different terminal configurations, but they're all about the same age. I couldn't tell ya if they're all 186s or not.

I would be interested in a list as well.
On a related topic, CHM was just granted the rights to redistribute CTOS/BTOS software from Unisys, so we're trying to find copies of what still survives.

Pictures are uploadiing. I fired up the 3 terminals but they just sat at a prompt with no response from the keyboard. All three stayed at the same prompt. I think the keyboard is fine because on one of the terminals I accidentally flicked the power switch and the screen came up with garbage but beeped and responded when I hit a key. Any ideas? Or are these dumb terminals that need a connection to a main server? If so, I have the really really long cables, but it looks like they were cut in half to assist with the removal process.

Regarding the software, the only thing I found were a bunch of seeming unrelated 3.5" floppy disks. I found some SCO Unix disks, but they seemed like mostly drivers. On the other hand, I now know that I have at least 1 complete set of Windows 3.11 on floppy, Windows 95 on Floppy, and I think it was MS Works for DOS.

You can right-click on the picture and hit 'view image' for a higher res version. This is the first time I've tried publishing multiple pictures to the public from my phone so Google drive seemed the easiest way I guess.

Not pictured are a handful of matching green CRTs. A couple are really small and I was considering keeping them for a potential future projects.

I'll probably only wait a couple of days on this. I really need to clean out the garage so if I don't have any definite interest by sometime next week I'll just scrap them. :(

I forgot to mention that I would be interested in trades as well as cash.

Things I'm looking for:
Mac SE/30
Ethernet card for Mac SE
Joystick for SE
The 1.44MB upgrade drive for SE
Joystick for Apple II
A matching keyboard for my 5150
A replacement board for an Apple Disk II drive
A couple good looking 8" floppy disks, they do not need to be functional
Software to make my Access Matrix computer work
An oscilloscope and a logic probe

I'd really be interested if someone knew how to get one of these going though.

If you haven't scrapped them yet, I am pretty well interested in some or all of them. I can probably come up with spares to cover a good portion of your wish list there. PM me?

No I decided not to scrap them and put them in storage until I either found a use for them or found someone interested in them. Al Kossow was talking to me about getting them but I think I forgot about that until now...

I'll wait for firebirdta84 to double-check to see if he wants these. Technically Al has first dibs if he's interested...

Oh that want list is way out-dated. At this point I've got nearly everything I want except for some higher-end items and more boxed games.

Looking at the model number, I suspect you might well have the more powerful 68040 MightyFrame. Nice system, particularly if you can get it to boot (I don't know where one would find an installation tape for CTIX nowadays).
