Storing expansion cards

I've got a lot of PC expansion cards with no reasonable way to store them. At the moment, I'm just chucking them into boxes and hoping they don't get broken/I can find them again, and it's starting to get annoying every time I need something out of the boxes.

Is there any good way to store a lot of these in a clean, orderly manner? Preferably in a cardboard box or something for under $10-$15?

2x4 or plywood/particle board, board-width cuts in it, spaced approximately a slot's width apart from each other. Put it on a shelf and "plug" your cards into the slots.

I'm thinking about doing this for my S-100 boards. Currently I store them in a filing cabinet, which works OK.

Hmm, mine is a red cedar 2x6. Depending on your location, framing lumber can be ridiculously inexpensive. I imagine that finding a pine or fir 2x6 in Idaho would be about as easy as locating a potato.

I just got a bunch of 6x16 inch static bags and a few 14x10x6 boxes. Where I am there are plenty of suppliers, so you might have a bit of a problem in Idaho. I haven't been there in over 20 years, and that was only around Idaho Falls, so I wouldn't now what the situation is for you. Try this company for ESD stuff. They seem to have the best prices and it's where I bought my stuff.
