glitch

There's a slight problem with the GW-12887-1 battery module for some computers. Some require a set of capacitors, resistors and transistors in series with the battery to work properly. The only one I've found a problem with is the Compaq Portable III.

Those guys were NOT pushed very heavily on the west coast--My '76-'77 stint @ BYTE of Lawndale was before they even came out---Then I worked with Byte/Bellevue WA and they heavily pushed Northstar, and Altos...
