I saw a thread on here about you and getting your PDP-8/E and an EAE up and running so I thought I would see if you have any suggestions. I also contacted Mike Thompson.
I have a PDP-8/E that I just got an EAE for and I am having some problems. I posted a question in the forums and Roland suggested there was an EAE thread. He thinks it might be an incompatibility between my CPU and the EAE boards.
Here are the boards that I have:
M8330
M8340E
M8341D
M8310B
M8300A
Do you have any ideas or suggestions?
Also, the 6.8uF tantalum capacitors have been cut off of both the M8340 and the M8341. There are 3 of them on each board. Should I replace them?
